Research Panel for Insolvency Law with Property Law
This Research Panel is headed by Rolf Åbjörnsson, Attorney-at-law, Setterwalls Advokatbyrå.
The Panel is currently working on the following projects:
- A seminar on the Swedish National Audit Office report on “The State and treatment of insolvent undertakings”.
- Research project concerning legislative demarcation between bankruptcy debtor and estate in bankruptcy.
- Research project concerning UNCITRAL’s Model Law for the law of securities and the Swedish principle of tradition.
- Research project concerning the insolvency concept in practice: it works in theory, but why doesn’t it work in practice? Among other things, a comparison with England, where companies go bankrupt before they have been run into the ground.
