Corporate Governance Post Enron
Centret anordnade under hösten 2004 ett internationellt seminarium tillsammans med The International Financial Law Unit Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) och The British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL). Seminariet ”Corporate Governance Post Enron” hölls i London den 17 och den 18 september 2004 hos BIICL. Finansiella skandaler som Enron och Worldcom har framkallat en aktiv debatt om och ett antal förändringar av den existerande regleringen för bolagsstyrning i Europa och USA. Vid detta seminarium diskuterade ledande experter den senaste tidens utveckling och innebörden av den. Transparens, avslöjanden, bolagsledningens ansvar, interna strukturer, nuvarande globala budgetperioders längd och revisionskommittéers roll är några av de ämnen som behandlades under seminariets två dagar.
