The study concerns the use of syndicated loans, with reference to the outward relation to the borrower and to the internal relation between the creditors. Case law is almost completely lacking in Nordic law, but exists in English and American and also in Russian and French law. The study will include a certain amount of material from non-Nordic sources and will to a great extent be based on contract case law and above all on English and “American” precedent. The study is planned to occupy a couple of years.
Professor Lars Heuman
In the project “Arbitration law and the UNCITRAL Model Law”, a study is being made of the differences between Swedish law and the Model Law and of whether differences on a number of points are of such a kind and of such importance as to give foreign parties cause to conclude agreements making the provisions of the Model Law applicable.
